I’m still amazed every time I get on the scale…

Exercise was never high on my priority list.  In fact, it rarely made my list!   Exercise in my mind equated to a smelly gym filled with sweaty, egotistical men looking for young, thin, superficial women.  Why on earth would a middle-aged woman, struggling with her weight and self-image want to subject herself to that?  Not me!  But what was the alternative?

When I scheduled a consultation with Susan, I had no idea the impact it would have on my life, both physically and mentally.  I learned more about diet and health during my consultation than I had in my lifetime.   Not only did I find a personal trainer, but I found a nutritionist!  A winning combination!

Six months after I started my workouts with Susan and my change in eating habits, my weight has dropped 16 lbs.  Going into this I thought it would be difficult to the lose the weight, that I would be hungry all the time, feel deprived, and I would dread my workouts.  I was wrong!  I look forward to my workouts, the positive reinforcement I receive from Susan and for her kind, non-judgmental support.   My physical strength has increased and that strength has helped me to feel more empowered and confident.  My new eating habits never leave me hungry and losing the weight has been much easier than I would have ever thought.  I’m still amazed every time I get on the scale!

Susan has helped me to transition from a middle-aged, menopause-challenged woman into a vibrant, strong, fit, younger feeling (and looking) woman!  I can’t thank her enough for all her help and support in helping me reach my goals.  I still have more pounds to lose, but now that I’m halfway to my goal weight, I know I can do it, especially with Susan cheering me on to the finish line!
